The Legal Education Support Network
The Legal Education Support Network (LESN) is an initiative by the Bar Council of the Maldives (BCM) to support the provision of legal education in the Maldives. Through the LESN, the BCM aims to provide law students in the Maldives with access to supplemental learning resources by organising lectures and workshops that will help increase their awareness and knowledge in various areas related to their studies and their future practice of law. It is our intention to work with leading practitioners, law firms, academics and organisations to provide this supplemental support to law students so that they may complete their studies with increased knowledge of the various areas of law, as well as a working knowledge of the Maldivian legal system and awareness of the most recent developments in it.
